Workshop description:
This workshop ranges on issues from discussing the difficulties of navigating mental health issues and social media all the ways to communicating with your teens finding new ways to connect to your teen.
This is a two hour workshop, with time for individual questions at the end with the therapist running the workshop.
This workshop is a brief overview on the following issues:
how to best help your teen manage stress, impulse control, and making decisions)
navigating boundaries with social media and phone use
affects of social media on the developing brain
ways to communicate and connect with your teen
What will be provided from workshop:
A full understanding of helping support your teen’s mental health.
A full understanding and suggested plans for age appropriate boundaries on social media and phone use.
Tips on how you can find alternative ways to connect to your teen and rebuild your relationship in a positive way.
Pricing:
$150 for each individual present in the 2 hour workshop.
Information on Therapist:
Taylor has been working with teens since 2014 in various therapy settings. After graduating in 2019 from Lewis & Clark College, with a specialization in addictions, she continued in her speciality background of working with teens. She has continued to work with teens and their parents for the last 5 years. This workshop will be based off various studies, resources as well as years of experience with working with adolescents.
Location:
This workshop is offered both online and in person, with it being live streamed for parents who are not able to make it into the office. Workshop is only offered for people who live within Washington State.
